Jamjar is a beautiful cottage turned into cosy diner serving comfort food and quirky cocktails. Located at versova, this tiny blue cottage will betray your perception with its Tiny entrance.

                                

Jamjar embraces a chill and relaxed vibe, at the middle of the restaurant is a lovely jukebox, Tilted bookcases, colorful crockery and delusion of falling cupboards and cute interiors.  It has an indoor area and an open terrace facing the sea. JamJar with its cute decor, lively atmosphere and outdoorsy vibe, is definitely a place you'd love to hang out on a weekend with a bunch of friends without worrying about spending too much. Jamjar will also bound you in a comfort zone with lovely books and games as well.

Jam jar doesn't only offer the catches of interior and amazing vibe but also Mouth-watering food options. The newly launched seasonal ‘Summer-time’ menu here was a delight and offers innovative and mindful spread of dishes that suits this warm & sultry weather. We have got our hands off at the freshly made soft hotdogs, some Avocado Toast,  and Mac n Cheese Jacket Potatoes. The menu boasts of seasonal specials and freshest of the ingredients that encourage healthy & light eating.

From the regular menu, I have tried my all-time favourite – 3' cheese Burger with Cheesy patty, Jalapenos & beans; crispy chicken popcorn & Pan-tossed Mushrooms & Broccoli. I always fancy the breakfast options at Jamjar. Breakfast options are quite exciting with options like Fresh fruit platter, smoothies, waffles, pancakes, eggs. It can be paired with fresh & Healthy juices.

The place spoils you for choice with its exhaustive beverage menu. The place is a heaven for Cocktails and drinks, the taste & the presentation are both among the best I have seen. The drinks served mostly in a Quirky Masson Jar. We satisfied ourselves with a Summer Mango Ice-Cream soda, it was great. Some of the ingredients are known to be coolers that help in maintaining the body temperature.

Milkshakes had good flavours & consistency and should not be missed. We loved the Chocolate Brownie shake and Banana Caramel Shake.

Do not miss out the Flower pot surprise dessert, it is served in an actual flower pot and filled with ice-creams, marshmallows and crushed Oreos.

PS - They also serve craft beer from Gateway Brewing Co. and has good offer running!

This place has attractive & peaceful ambiance. The cafe is very spacious and has an elegant & comfortable setting that makes it easy to unwind, chat, meet or to work. In food menu, they have everything to satiate all types of palates - from Indian snacks to regional favourites to world gourmet. Although this place serves the vegetarian food, they have a small menu for eggetarians.  This also makes Tea Trails, a go place for a quick homelike light and healthy meal.

In their summer special menu, We were taken aback by the cool & Refreshing options in cold brews and mocktails. I am pleased by the amazing Medley of Orange and Mint, that is called ‘Better Wife' on the menu. Tea Sangria and Bubble tea Is something that can't be missed!!!

In hot brew, we haven't tried much because of hot & sultry climate. But we surely enjoyed a cup of 'Red Zen' – Tea with no caffeine.

 

With 10-page food menu, you are going to be spoilt for choices. The food is light and has subtle flavours that replicate the Concept of light eating. You can gorge on Pasta, Nachos, Salads, Sandwiches, waffles, Pakodas, Maggi, schezwan Vada pav, egg Kejriwal on a bun/pav, pizza, burgers and more. A good range of delicious breakfast offerings has also been prepared with a good spread of desi and English variants. For Lunch and mains, they have options from Panner Bhurji Pav to fried Rice, Thai curry, cottage cheese steak Platter etc.

PS - Interestingly, South Indian Kaapi is on offer for coffee lovers and Month Watering  Jain Menu will not disappoint my Jain Friends.

Night Owls, This place is for you to take your tongue for a ride : The Third House,Malad

Malad, which was once known as a faraway suburb area is now house to many new restaurants with fresh concepts and Cuisines. The food and culinary scenes have changed over the years and now people drive all the way to malad to have a Juicy Burger at Jimis or steaks at Stacks n Racks. Not only this, these eateries are known for providing a Value for money experience to many.

                                            

And for those lazy pack of people who prefer to order food, there is a fantastic latenight delivery option available in Malad after, Famous 'The Third House' started their delivery Kitchen in Malad and lives up to the spirit of Mumbai as 'The city that Nevers sleeps'.

The third house is heaven for all food lovers as it serves a variety of food to satisfy all food palates. They serve some scrumptious North Indian food to fiery oriental fare as well as Drolling pizzas and Garlic bread to satiate our late-night cravings in Easy to eat packing.

Apart from delivery, the food can also be served to you in your car so that you can eat it hot & fresh. This place is notable for its Siders aka naan Turnovers.

This place is featured mostly in Late Night Food options, but I thought of ordering my dinner from here last night as the quality of food and taste is undoubtedly good. So be it dinner or Late night grub at wee hours,  prefer The third house.

I prefer the Indian section over the other. The Tikkas & Kebabs are amazing and make for the perfect appetizers. Stuffed tandoori Mushrooms and lasooni Tikka tossed in a creamy gravy are must have.

Their Unique Indian Style sliders are to come back for. These Sliders consists of a Tandoori Naan stuffed with cheese and dollops of your preferred curry with your protein and Garnished with coriander and onions.  During delivery, the crispy naan covering might get soggy, but these sliders complete as a meal and apt option when you are low on cash.

For main Couse, they have various options in Dal as well as rice. The highlights are their Curries that will make you fall in love with The Third House. I find the oriental food extra spicy and over flavoured, so I refrain the Chinese part.

Pizzas and Garlic Breads are yet to be tried. The delivery is fast and I always get my order.

Dubai Famed American gastropub “Rodeo Drive” has come to Mumbai at Peninsula Redpine, Andheri(East)

Prominent American gastropub “Rodeo Drive” has come to Mumbai to satiate your American Food cravings with innovative drinks and burgers to give your taste buds a ride into heaven.

                               

From the owners of the OPA Bar and Cafe, this gastropub is located at Peninsula Redline hotel in Andheri East. Rodeo House is a popular eating joint in Dubai which has created waves in Dubai for young American Bar concept and Burgers, some of which are curated by Worlds Famous Chefs.

This place will definitely cheer you with its fun vibe. They have an interactive space with  a mechanical bull, American automobiles - one wall encrusted with no. Plates of all the states of America, some drinking games and a whole lot of food focused on American Grill concept !!!

They play good music and it plays a great role in binding the experience together. With dim lights and table carved out of stacked tyres, they are Long backless Stoll's in the centre, it makes the place look spacious. While we feel, backless Stoll's are not comfortable to enjoy food and drinks, we opted for comfy sofa seating on the side.

When it comes to American food, we know about the big portion size and great taste & flavours that make it very difficult to tame the foodie inside.

Prices are little on the premium side but guess's what you are saving for your tickets to Dubai to visit this Amazing place. For appetizers, they have Fuss free menu that includes a good variety of finger food. We have tried the Nachos with Barbeque chicken and the sharable New York Platter. The New York Platter comes with Fries, Sausages, Buffalo chicken wings, BBQ Lamb, mozzarella sticks and chunky chicken chips with blue cheese dip and tangy mayo - that just can’t be refused.

For mains, the best choice is to go with American Favourite Burgers, siders, pizza or hotdogs. The also have another delectable Main Course options with variety of Grilled Meats, Lamb chops, shanks & ribs - which is ideal for variety seeking -hungry gourmands

Apart from the variety of spirits, their signature cocktail menu features some of the best concoctions. While we ordered Frozen Alaska –that concocts Vodka, Rum, Gin, Tequila, Blue curacao, lime juice and strawberry syrup into a heady mix and white House - a coffee and milk based mix, they set out to be clear winners.

Rodeo Drive is the new Texan pub in the city and highly recommend for every party freaks and people who are looking out for a perfect balance with good food and drinks

PS - Do try their cheesecakes, we have loved the Blueberry Cheese cake.

Lokhandwala has a new join that serves the best Roasted Chicken: TST - Pollo A La Brasa

If you ask me what is love, then I will say a portion of Perfectly roasted chicken with texture and flavours.  And guess what, I have found my love at this Newly opened eatery in Lokhandwala first cross lane.

                              

For all chicken lovers, this eatery had this amazing Peruvian recipe for roasted chicken waiting for you that can be accompanied with wide choices of sides. The menu has the influence of flavours and cuisine of Peru and also have some real good Milkshakes.

You can choose from the options of the legendary 'Pollo A La Brasa - The Peruvian Grilled Chicken, Arroz Chaufa (Peruvian version of oriental Fried rice), Burgers, pizza, sandwiches, quesadelas< Peruvian wings and more. The menu is limited but the Legendary Gastronomic Champion - Pollo A La Brasa is something that you have to come back for.

'Pollo A La Brasa' is the most delicious roasted chicken I have ever eaten…The marinade is full of spices and herbs.  I would describe 'Pollo A La Brasa' as herbaceous, savory, well spiced and just as juicy as one can imagine. The skin is beautifully crisp and flavored too. It is considered to be a staple item on the menu of Peruvian/American fusion restaurants. In Peru, They even have a national day for it on June 1.

I have written so much about 'Pollo A La Brasa' but trust me even the Milkshakes are also the winner of our meal at TBC. This is a small joint with a little seating space. It mostly comprises of Backless stools which I feel is not idle to enjoy a comfortable meal. But that serves the purpose as it provides with more seating space.

Background music they play is also refreshing and plays a great role in binding the experience together.

Overall, a first of its kind and a great place in the vicinity to enjoy good Peruvian Cuisine and the Legendary roasted chicken.
