Ayaz's - The kebab Palace , Juhu

I went out on a stroll and saw this little place near Novotel and their display (stream of smoke from the open sigdi - loaded with kebabs and Tikkas) tempted me to try that.  And I can say that We have got a kebab palace in Juhu and now you don't have to go to town -Ayub's or Gokul's or Mohd. Ali Road to have a tikka roll or Reshmi roll.....

Ayaz is one of the few place in Andheri to serve kebab and rolls.......

The quality of food is good and obviously as you can see in the pictures How tempting there Grill(sigdi) is looking. Prices are also nominal. The rolls here are the best. Do try the Chicken Tikka and Chicken Seekh Kebab rolls and if you are in search for something spicy then go for kali Miri tikka.
It doesn't  have place to sit so its best to get a takeaway or eating in your car.

Ps - If you like Tikkas and Kebabs in rolls on a light pocket, standing on the footpath or eating in your car, then Ayaz is the place to go.

Mumbai Creams, Oshiwara

Had passed by this a couple of times, and wanting to try it out and one night when i was craving for strawberries with cream, i decided to visit this place. 

On Reaching i found a lot of space outside to sit and in space-crunched Mumbai - it is a wonder (whilst there is a small place inside). So without even reading or seeing the menu, i ordered Strawberry With Cream and then while the dessert is being served i took a quick look of the menu. Its a pure Veg restaurant and Menu is almost same as Amar's and Aditi's in Juhu.

 This place is soon going to be a desert hot stop in Oshiwara - located near mega mall.
Now you don't have to travel all the way to Haji Ali juice center to have fresh fruits and cream... the strawberry with cream & Sitaphal with cream is worth a try. Other Juices and mocktails are average in taste.
This outlet is little expensive considering quality of food, service and ambiance they offer.

 

Haven't tried their main course, as you can read earlier reviews. 
Overall what i think is that it is a nice place when you want to have something quick and light like a sandwich or a dosa and attack on The Indian Deserts - faloodas, Kulfis and fresh fruit with cream..

PS- The concept and menu is almost same like AMAR'S and these guys really need to work hard on their food part to sustain their image.

Facing East, Juhu(Mumbai)

Loved the food and ambiance of this place. Though they serve Chinese only but it is difference from what you have from other Chinese joints - i think The food was rich in flavour and relatively authentic. I find Facing East better than many of the Chinese restaurants out there. The place has an archaic feel to it and strives to provide you with an authentic Chinese ambiance.

 

 

We started off with Chicken Tom Yum soup, it was Good - quite flavorful and blend of lemongrass made it amazing . For starters we  have called for crispy chicken and chili basil chicken and  I would definitely order again.

The quantity was good and really sufficient for two and at that moment i was not thinking to order the main course but you know gluttony is never a sin and that made me to order Sizzling Chicken Mein - it was noodles on a sizzling plate and it was so yum that even  with my full stomach i was struggling to eat/finish it. It has brought back memories as i can remember Eating somewhat the same in my childhood When i use to go out for dinner with my parents in Amritsar.

And I am definitely Gonna come  back to have this.
 The service was little lousy but after an appeal to the head/manager ,it was all fine and timely.

The Homemade Cafe, Oshiwara (Mumbai)

 This is one of the most beautiful cafe in Mumbai Suburbs - a small cozy place tucked in Oshiwara. I can spent my whole day ....sipping down a coffee.  The place looks so stunning when you pass by it and that will make you step inside it . Its beauty is mesmerizing and once you are inside you will be awe struck by its , Well designed Walls and tastefully selected Furniture. The place is designed fully with love and passion. They actually did justice to the concept and the place has all kinds different vibes - peaceful and cozy as if you are sitting at a place far Faraway from Mumbai classy and sassy from the food . The table was beautifully done with beautiful flower vases and real flowers lie ow cool is that. This all made me fall in love.....

Now let's talk about food.
I have ordered a Non-veg lasagna and it was delicious and beautifully done and served in an neo-classical way. 
The  pink sauce pasta was good - tasted bit buttery..
The Peri-Peri Chicken was amazing though i think that the quantity was a problem.
The cold coffee was nice and best way to end your meal.

PS- There was no Indian Touch in the food - It was Italian and not Indo-Italian.
