I cannot stress enough the importance of relying on a cafe which does not burn a hole in your pocket and yet, you would not want to compromise on the quality of the food. Big Fat Sandwich in Hauz Khas is one of my favorites in these aspects. Open from 11 in the day to 11 in the night, it serves delicious sandwiches at reasonable prices.  With all this going for it, Big Fat Sandwich certainly has the potential to be your next go-to place.

 

AMBIENCE : We began our evening experience at Big Fat Sandwich which was curved in its layout and cozy and comfortable in its design. The interior is filled with beautiful wood panelling, floral touches and plush furnishings, and the well-lit space bestows the restaurant with a timeless intimate elegance. In a crux, the place is modern, understated, chic and comfortable.

FOOD: Following recommendations from the extremely friendly and attentive staff, we went for the suggested food items by Manager. Big Fat Sandwich truly lives up to its name with best sandwiches around the corner.

As for the cafe itself, this was spacious and well-appointed. Carefully designed, it was both intimate and social, with the acoustics being properly monitored to minimize any amplified chatter and clanking that often fills other establishments. This space in every way epitomized what a modern fine-dining cafe could aspire to look like. Not only was the food delicious, the service was also excellent – smart yet unpretentious. Big Fat Sandwich made for a lovely chilled out dining experience and also the prices were quite reasonable. The cooking replicated the quality at food– controlled, measured, precise and flawlessly executed. This is how a cafe should be run.

I am excited to mention the appealing presentation and serving style. some of the dishes we have loved includes - Mumbai Local, Corn on Cob, Museli peanuts, roasted quinoa, roasted tomato basil soup, caesar shot, paneer tikka sandwich, zoodle box and summed it up with scrumptious chocolate waffle.

The best part is that the have plethora of healthy food options. This totally sums up healthy food with Great taste and variety.
