Yes, I have found authentic Keralan food in Mumbai, Head to 'Lalit Refreshment - Taste of Kerala' for a warm and comforting lunch.

Mumbai has various options tucked in various places that are not known to too many people.
Lalit refreshments- Taste of Kerala is one such hidden gem located in narrow alleys of Fort.
Lalit Refreshment - Taste of Kerala Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato                                       View my food journey on Zomato!

This is a casual dining place serving Vegetarian and Non- Vegetarian Keralan cuisine.  This place is often seen buzzing during lunch hours, as people working in nearby offices savor the best of the Keralan cuisine and a value for money option for lunch. And just as another crowded lunch joint you may have to share your table.

When I visited this place I was somewhat new to Keralan cuisine, but I am excited to  say that the staff helped me with ordering my food. The Service is very fast and the staff is active and helped me explaining many dishes while I was exploring the menu.
Condinments

People swear by the fresh fish fry and other sea-food delicacies here. The sight and smell of the food on the other tables delighted me for the gastronomical journey ahead.

As I want to take my tongue for a ride, I ordered for Chicken Malabar, Chicken sukkha, Malabar Paratha and Appams.
And ended it with a complementary cup of payasum.
Malabar Chicken & Parotta

The food was up to the expectations, the chicken sukkha was hot and spices with bang of flavors. The chicken Malabar was cooked perfectly in a creamy gravy with grounded Masalas. It goes best with parotha, specifically the south Indian version i.e Malabar Parotha. This layered flaky flat bread is the highlight of our meal.

This place is good for your wallet. As I was on a solitary trip and ate like a starved soul, the bill didn't cross INR 350.
Payasam

This place can be found easily on Google maps and zomato.

Ps - Keen to try the traditional Kerala thali.
