The pretty Pepper Kitchen at Malviya Nagar Market, Delhi

This beautiful cafe 'Pepper Kitchen' caught my attention while I was wandering aimlessly and frustrated on the roads of Malviya Nagar.
Talking about the ambience, it's a feast to the eyes, loved the colors they've used, undoubtedly the cutest put ups I've ever come across.
Secondly, the food was the icing on the cake.

Generally it's hard to find combos of ambience and quality together, but I guess the myth for me is over now.

Undoubtedly, being an outstation student in Delhi, I've explored this beautiful place, finally.
Don't think twice before visiting this one.

Kudos to the pretty girls who've been running this so effortlessly, more power to you.

Its all Bollywood at The Filmy - Badmash Company, Select City, Saket - New Delhi

We planned to visit Badmash Company during it’s one of the most hyped nights on Wednesday’s. Talking about the ambience of Badmash Company , one can get chills of entering into some filmy café with Bollywood posters stationed on the walls and with all those filmy photo frames which include nostalgic dialogues of DDLJ , one can just revert back to old filmy memories for sure. In a crux, the entire place has a very thematic ambience with posters and dialogues of famous films adorning the walls.

Following the line comes the Food - they have an elaborate menu to choose from and very cleverly, the menu is also divided into Bollywood and Hollywood flavors where in Bollywood represents our very own Indian food and Hollywood serves a mix of International cuisines from American, to Italian, Continental, and Chinese. They also have a great bar menu as well and a wide range of cocktails and mocktails to choose from. We did try some stuff which includes Veg and Non Veg Pizza, Chilly Chicken, Seekh Kabab, Spring rolls, Roasted chicken and each one of them was scrumptious and delicious.

All in all, it surely is a highly recommended place, and food and film lovers must give it a try. It has a great ambience, great music, and great food and you would not mind splurging your money on this one

Restaurant Review Royal China : Fort, Mumbai

Royal china as the name suggests is a Chinese fine dine restaurant and trust me it was as royal as it could be. From cutlery to staff to ambience to food, everything gave a very royal and special feel. And in spite of we visiting it on a Friday evening we received the perfect service.

Here are the list of things we had:
1:Cranberry kiss
Tangy mocktail and as the name suggests it had a perfect touch of cranberry.

2:Cosmo
Thought its a common cocktail but the perfect blend of vodka and cranberry juice made it special.

3:Green puerh chinese tea
The tea was served in a very pretty tea pot and cups. The fragmented Puerh tea is a kind of a healthy beverage, which not only has a long history of Chinese Tea, but also helps in reducing weight.

Dumplings:
We tried to cover three variants of dumplings,ie.poultry, seafood and vegetarian.so in seafood we had prawn and crap dumpling which was simply amazing.soft, juicy and finely cooked ,in poultry we tried Chicken and chive dumpling which was comparatively average whereas in vegetarian we had mushroom black fungus dumpling and was really good, mushrooms very finely chopped and tasted really nice.
We also tried the famous turnip cake with burnt garlic and was amazed by how they have tried to match their dishes with the Indian taste and how it actually did perfect justice, the mixture of turnip and burnt garlic was simply amazing and the combination of both turned out really well and is definitely a must try.

Appetisers:
Vegetable lettuce wrap is a good healthy option if you are looking for one, the presentation was really appealing and was served on a bowl filled with veggies and crispies, the salad tasted good but was slightly bland for my liking. In poultry we ordered Sweet shredded chicken, the chicken was properly cooked and delicious.

Main course:
We had vegetarian royal china lotus leaf rice which was served in a typical way, it was simply delicious and every bite of rice had the flavour. Pan fried noodles with vegetables tasted lovely and had a spicy tangy taste with a little gravy on the top. Pomfret with sweet chilli sauce is another must try here, it was soft and juicy and flavourful.
Flaming chicken in superior sauce is their another signature dish, and if your looking for some unique act than its just perfect! Its served in a flaming dish and the sauce and nicely cooked chicken makes it a must try here.

Deserts:

Both the deserts that we had were different and good in their own way. Missing the Honey Noodles here is simply not recommendable, Honey noodles is one of their classic desserts and was great. Rich walnut pie was lovely, the extra softness and the ice cream at the top made it even better.

How I feel…
The restaurant give extremely calm vibes with its wooden interiors, wine walls as you enter, soothing music track that plays and the staff’s pleasant smile truly top the list.
What I see...
Their printed brand plate that has MASALA LIBRARY on it- extremely creative & well thought, the handpicked cutlery used to serve very niche and on point.
Team who care…
Kudos to the manager in charge on floor Chief Mahesh, Chef Dhwani to have picked ideal blend of food served along for us along with Chief Shubhang & Chief Nishant.
Cocktail…
BURNT CURRY LEAF MARTINI- A classic martini with a burnt curry with essence of citrus. Extremely innovative & refreshing concept.
MASALA LIBRARY CLASSIC MARGARITA - Sambuca Drink (can’t really recall its correct name)- So this mix is really pristine concept at least not witnessed by us before. The chief brings a glass with all possible herbs diluted in tequila which was then burnt in front of us until the herbs flavours were extracted following to which this burnt spices were added to the iced lemon.
Starts with cleanser..
"Amuse-Bouche" a palate cleanser were even served with small bite sized maska buns with cheese flavours.
Soups..
STEAMED BASA DUMPLINGS WITH RASSAM - Flavours of South India in a Soup!! The melt in mouth basa dumplings with soup base of our authentic Rassam. With a tangy & hint of lemon grass makes the bowl makes it with high level of flavours. Crispy dosa to the dressing just added the Masala Library’s X factor.
The same preparation was served in veg with grilled tofu, sundried grilled cherry tomato.
Appetizer..
Spare us for not the right names of the dish but believe our description will make you experience the taste.
Let’s Name this Banana chip starter-
So this was a dip made of hung curd flavoured with asparagus spinach & other herbs served with authentic traditional spicy banana chips.
Kuttu Roti Pol Sambhol
Crispy stir fried shredded Kuttu roti with pol Sambhol and other ingredients, topped with puff rice, flavour of south Indian spices in a combination of wheat & rice must say very unique & finger licking.
Tandoori Mushrooms
You would think this is a typical appetiser in every Mughlai Restaurant but believe me when I say these Tandoori Mushrooms were one of its kind. With Mushroom being hand-picked from land of Kashmir.
SOFT SHELL CRAB 65
Crabs never got this delicious, fresh tender shell crabs marinated with Indian spices, deep fried with semolina coating tasted extremely delicious with spicy cherry tomato chutney.
The extreme flavours from all over the country were simply served to us in few pieces of the above mentioned starters. We had received another set of pallet cleaner in the form of beautifully presented oval shaped dices kulfi in the sticks with blooming flowers.
Main Course
PAN SEARED RAWAS
For all seafood lovers, seared Indian salmon covered with crispy saag, served on a bed of tangy mustard flavoured curry. They had served a comparatively huge piece of crispy Raswas in which was cooked so well keeping the tenderness, garnished with herbs to add the library flavour into the dish.
Veg Kofte
Cottage cheese kofte with traditional creamy tomato gravy, little of the sweeter side successfully melts in your mouth. I have personally never experience a blast of flavours.
To complete the series of main course we were served traditional hot dal makhani, tadke wala boondi raita and spread of Indian Breads.
Special mini Kulchas were also served to us with stuffed mushrooms & cheese & another portion of cheddar cheese and minced chicken.
Dessert be like…
Chai flavoured Icecream –
Honest confession, when presented first made me wonder what is that? I had thoughts like I guess I don’t wana experiment a tea flavoured icecream that to in a typical cutting chai glass. But this was a surprise delight. It had apt cutting Chai flavour with perfect garnished with almond and pistachio, and with a foamy topping. Served with saffron chenna and almond chikki. This chikki was one of its kind too. A rhythm of contrasting flavours beautifully bought together in the form of aromatic dessert!

Jalebi Caviar with Rabdi
This is sheer creation of masterpiece. A MUST HAVE/LIFE TIME/ DESSERT OF THE MELLANIUM
The jalebi caviar is served with traditional rabdi & saffron foam in a big sea shell. Rightly said,” tribute to rabdi jalebi” Jalebi in a form of caviar is innovation in its own. Absolute delight!

Old school memories gave us flash backs with flavoured candyfloss served as a mouthfreshner.

I am excited to share that I am a big fan of their signatures wraps and rolls. The fact is that it is replicated in the style the famous Bombay frankie is made and secondly the lovely flavours and varieties makes it irresistible. Honestly speaking, the prices are on higher side and I don't feel the worth for the money I paid for, but then for good food, taste and our tummy, everything is justified till the time it is giving you the expected satisfaction.

In Delhi, I was surprised to see their Royal Indian meal combo and it was amazing as well. Smoked Butter chicken with meatballs meal is the frequented ordered dish for my office lunch. Other categories include quick meals, all day breakfasts, and salads.

The food arrives warm and neatly packed in eat and throw containers. And now there delivery is very much reliable and always on-Time.

Do try their shravan special menu. They mostly have new and different menu every day at their different outlets and they take care of your food need in times like Navartri and other auspicious occasions as well.

Ps - Like McDonald's is for burgers and Dominos is for Pizzas - FAASOS is for Lipsmacking Rolls and somewhat rice, meals and salads.
