In last few years, the city has witnessed many new restaurants that are serving real good healthy food. If you are the one looking to eat right, then we have found a place for you in Oshiwara, ANDHERI (W).

The Salad Station has got a good variety of salads for salad lovers. The menu is filled with all kinds of Tofu, grilled veggies, honey potatoes, chickpeas, tuna, chicken and a lot more. Salads here are not just healthy but take your taste bud for a ride. Their portion sizes are generous enough and you will get complete value for your money.

If you are not impressed with the vivid salad options from the menu, then you can choose 'Make Your Own Salad' option and create your own masterpiece with fresh and flavourful ingredients.

The name of the restaurant should give away the fact that it only serves salad. But don’t be fooled by its playful name. This restaurant serves amazing appetizers, sandwiches, smoothies and some interesting concoction of fresh juices.

Don't leave without trying their exclusive continental menu which they are serving till March 21st. The Grilled chicken with Red Wine Jus and Grilled chicken in Creamy mushroom sauce were the highlights of the menu, but these dishes can be a little heavy for your wallet.

They have got a good options in Desserts. We will recommend you to try the power packed whey protein brownie and Walnut-Date Pie.

Yes, I have found authentic Keralan food in Mumbai, Head to 'Lalit Refreshment - Taste of Kerala' for a warm and comforting lunch.

Mumbai has various options tucked in various places that are not known to too many people.
Lalit refreshments- Taste of Kerala is one such hidden gem located in narrow alleys of Fort.
Lalit Refreshment - Taste of Kerala Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato                                       View my food journey on Zomato!

This is a casual dining place serving Vegetarian and Non- Vegetarian Keralan cuisine.  This place is often seen buzzing during lunch hours, as people working in nearby offices savor the best of the Keralan cuisine and a value for money option for lunch. And just as another crowded lunch joint you may have to share your table.

When I visited this place I was somewhat new to Keralan cuisine, but I am excited to  say that the staff helped me with ordering my food. The Service is very fast and the staff is active and helped me explaining many dishes while I was exploring the menu.
Condinments

People swear by the fresh fish fry and other sea-food delicacies here. The sight and smell of the food on the other tables delighted me for the gastronomical journey ahead.

As I want to take my tongue for a ride, I ordered for Chicken Malabar, Chicken sukkha, Malabar Paratha and Appams.
And ended it with a complementary cup of payasum.
Malabar Chicken & Parotta

The food was up to the expectations, the chicken sukkha was hot and spices with bang of flavors. The chicken Malabar was cooked perfectly in a creamy gravy with grounded Masalas. It goes best with parotha, specifically the south Indian version i.e Malabar Parotha. This layered flaky flat bread is the highlight of our meal.

This place is good for your wallet. As I was on a solitary trip and ate like a starved soul, the bill didn't cross INR 350.
Payasam

This place can be found easily on Google maps and zomato.

Ps - Keen to try the traditional Kerala thali.

Tingle your taste buds with Fiery flavours of Grills & Wok, Oshiwara

There are many Chinese restaurants in Mumbai and many new ones are opening nowadays. Every Chinese restaurant has its own taste and flavors. From the taste and color of schezwan sauce to ingredients used and preparation style everything differs.

If you remember, China is also a vast country and as Indian food - they too have regional styles of cooking and that where this variation comes from.
Thai Pot Rice

Food at 'Grills & Wok' is packed with spices and fiery flavors. Fiery means super spicy, I almost had 7-8 glassed of water to gulp down my food. Although dishes I have ordered were meant to be spicy but they are extra spicy (even my Maharashtrian Friend couldn't survive that)

The Iconic Roast Chilli Chicken

Sauces used are different and that cooks up some really delicious dishes. The best part of the menu is their 'Roast Chicken' in different chinese preparations. They have dedicated 'Lamp and seafood' option to their food menu - that you don't get to see normally in Mumbai.

Recommendations - Roast Chicken Chilli with spring Onions, lamb in paprika and exciting range of pot rice.
It is a small Restaurant with two seating portions - apt for family get-togethers as well as casual dinners. I found prices to be at a higher side, but the quality of food justifies the same upto some extent.

PS - The food I have tasted here was extremely spicy for normal palate. Do make necessary alterations while ordering your food.
